Christmas Rum Cocktails for the Holiday Cheers!

There’s nothing quite like a festive cocktail to get into the holiday spirit! Rum, with its rich, warming flavors, is a perfect choice for Christmas cocktails. Here are some delightful Christmas rum cocktails that you can whip out in a few minutes to make this season extra merry.

Spiced Eggnog

Ingredients:

  •  60 ml Wise Monkey Indian Spiced Rum
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp ground nutmeg

Method:

  1. In a saucepan, heat milk and heavy cream over medium heat until warm, not boiling.
  2. In a bowl, whisk eggs, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. Slowly pour warm milk mixture into the eggs, whisking continuously.
  4. Return to the pan and cook on low until it thickens slightly.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in Wise Monkey Spiced Rum.
  6. Serve warm or chilled, with cinnamon stick and whipped cream garnish.

Dark Buttered Rum


Ingredients:

  • 60 ml Wise Monkey Dark Rum
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 pinch ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch ground nutmeg
  • 1 pinch ground cloves
  • Whipped cream (garnish)


Method:

  1. In a mug, add brown sugar, butter, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
  2. Pour in hot water and stir until the butter melts.
  3. Add Wise Monkey Dark Rum and stir well.
  4. Serve it topped with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon.

Gingerbread Cafe Fizz


Ingredients:

  • 45 ml Wise Monkey Café Rum
  • 15 ml gingerbread syrup
  • 120 ml club soda
  • Ice
  • Cinnamon stick or gingerbread cookie (for garnish)


Ingredients:

  1. In a shaker, combine Café Rum and gingerbread syrup with ice. Shake well.
  2. Strain into a glass filled with ice.
  3. Top with club soda and stir gently.
  4. Garnish with a cinnamon stick or a gingerbread cookie.

Candy Cane Mojito


Ingredients:

  • 60 ml White Rum
  • 10 fresh mint leaves
  • 1 tbsp crushed candy cane
  • 15 ml lime juice
  • 15 ml simple syrup
  • Club soda
  • Ice
  • Candy cane stick (for garnish)


Ingredients:

  1. Muddle mint leaves, lime juice, simple syrup, and crushed candy cane in a glass.
  2. Fill the glass with ice and add White Rum.
  3. Shake well and pour into glass
  4. Top with club soda and stir.
  5. Garnish with a candy cane stick and a sprinkle of crushed candy cane
